What an amazing guest house with amazing owners who bend over backwards to accomodate and give helpful advice regards the area. The rooms are perfect, plenty of room with every detail covered. As for the breakfast cooked to perfection with plenty of options. Certainly recommend to everyone, a home from home with a lovely personal touch and impeccably clean. Fabulous place. Very clean with very very very comfy beds. We did not require the cleaning service as we only stayed for 2 nights but still had tea coffee and biscuits left by our room with all our names. Very personal treatment. Quality breakfast and nice garden. Not recommended if you have walking difficulties as it's on the hill but we enjoyed our daily walk up the stairs😊 can't find 1 bad thing about this place. I've just enjoyed 3 nights B&B at Barclay Court. Rooms are spotless. Proprietors Felicity & Paul are very friendly & most helpful. Breakfasts are excellent. Good to be able to park off street. Only drawback is the steep hilly roads back up from sea front. Can very definitely recommend the hotel and will be back if an opportunity arises.

We stayed for 1 night as we were attending an event in Torquay but the length of stay made no difference to the lovely friendly welcome we received. Our room was lovely and the bed very comfortable with ample tea and coffee supplies. Breakfast was yummy with lots of attention to detail. We will definitely stay here again when in Torquay and highly recommend to all. This level of service is why we should be supporting local business so next time you are looking at booking a chain hotel in Torquay think local and book this fantastic guest house!

Lovely room,fun, friendly,welcoming hosts,enjoyed breakfast and felt comfortable and relaxed in their very nice guest house.This was my second stay at Barclay Court,a big thumbs up.
